VIDEO: Juvenile Justice Jeopardy™

We invite you to view this short film depicting Juvenile Justice Jeopardy (JJJ) in action. We developed the JJJ game to engage youth to avoid arrest in typical interactions with police and how to both understand and use their rights properly. The game uses (1) scenarios and skits engaging youth to act out and analyze how their behavior influences outcomes in typical interactions with police, and (2) fun, Jeopardy-style software which provides visual depictions of questions and answers to important legal questions that help kids both see and hear which answers are correct. The responses and comments of the youth in this film, shot at City Schools in Dorchester, an inner city neighborhood of Boston, are typical of the intensity of the interactions that occur during the playing of JJJ.

For questions, or to engage Strategies for Youth to replicate the game, please contact Geneva Gann at gg@strategiesforyouth.org, or call 617-714-3789.
